Hi I'm Andrea Larkins, a Counselling Psychologist of over 20 years experience in private practice, community settings & schools.

I know it can feel like a huge step to come and see a psychologist and start therapy so I will do all I can to support you to feel more comfortable as you seek to get started. I work with my clients to establish a warm, respectful and non-judgemental therapeutic relationship that provides the space and the support to explore current difficulties and relevant past experiences.

I believe its important to tailor the therapy to meet my clients' individual needs and personality and so I draw on a range of therapeutic approaches & techniques as needed.

I work with adult clients of any age group and from a wide range of backgrounds. I am highly experienced in working with a broad range of emotional and interpersonal difficulties.

I feel it is a great privilege to work with clients who have the courage and commitment to come to therapy and work towards developing a more authentic and fulfilling life.

Andrea is a highly experienced Counselling Psychologist who has worked in private practice for 10 years as well as 10 years in community agencies & the education sector. She has a Masters Degree in Counselling Psychology from Monash University and has studied and trained for 8 years prior to gaining endorsement as a Counselling Psychologist. She is a fully registered endorsed Counselling Psychologist with AHPRA and a full Member of the Australian Psychological Society.
